Routine Maintenance Tips

  • Cleaning and Water Treatment: Regularly clean the interior and exterior with mild, non-abrasive cleaners. Use chemical-safe products to maintain the integrity of the plastic lining.
  • Stainless Steel Coil Care: Check for corrosion or mineral buildup regularly. Most ash falls into the ashtray for easy cleaning.
  • Wood-Fired Heating System: Inspect for obstructions or debris affecting performance. Keep the firebox clean and free from ash buildup.
  • Exterior Maintenance: Apply coconut or teak oil twice yearly (before and after winter). Spread generously with a cloth, and keep the cover on for protection.
  • Water Filtration: Consider attaching a cartridge or sand filter to maintain water clarity.
  • Sealing and Insulation: Regularly check the plastic lining for wear or damage and repair promptly if needed.
  • Cover Usage: Always use the provided cover when the hot tub is not in use.
  • Water Replacement: Refill the tub every 2-3 days if a filtration system is not in use or if the water becomes visibly dirty.
